These are a few photos that I've taken this past summer, I have not identified them yet...I have ordered a book to help me in this process...and it'll be a slow one...I'm sure!! I really love the green damselfly.

The males (green ones) are Fragile Forktails. The females are also forktails; Eastern and Fragile are very similar in this color form.
Nannothemis...Thank you for your expert I.D! From what I understand,(and I agree), I.D. of the damsels are more difficult than the dragons. I appreciate all the information you have given me. I just enjoy the damsels and dragons around my pond so much...afraid I'd overload my main Blotanical blog with photos of them..I began this one. Thanks for the visit!
